National School Lunch Week

The National School Lunch Program began in 1946 and is the largest of the federal child nutrition programs. On Wednesday, October 14th Embassy Creek Elementary had a special visitor in honor of National School Lunch Week. Representative Evan Jenne came to visit and have lunch with Mrs. Barr's kindergarten class. Rep. Jenne is from House District 100 and has offices in both Ft. Lauderdale and Tallahassee. Students enjoyed having a special visitor at their lunch table and Rep. Jenne had a chance to experience lunch time at Embassy Creek. As you can see by the photos, a delicious lunch was enjoyed by all!
